Welcome to Timp. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Timp platform, desktop application, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Meiwa (Pty) Ltd ("Meiwa", "Timp", "we", "our", or "us").
By creating an account, accessing, or using Timp, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Timp is a digital marketplace that connects buyers seeking digital services ("Seekers") with student service providers ("Timpers").
Timp acts solely as a facilitator and marketplace. We do not directly provide the services listed by Timpers and are not a party to agreements formed between Seekers and Timpers.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account or use the Platform.
By using Timp, you represent and warrant that:
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts.
You agree to:
We reserve the right to remove accounts that contain false information or are used for fraudulent purposes.
To improve trust and safety, Timpers may be required to submit:
Providing false verification information may result in removal from the Platform.
Timpers may enable or disable location tracking at any time through the Platform. Location tracking is entirely optional and is not required to use Timp.
When location tracking is enabled, a Timper's location may be collected and displayed to Seekers through the Platform for service transparency and operational purposes.
When location tracking is disabled, no location information will be collected or shared with Seekers.
Timpers may offer paid or free services through the Platform.
Timpers are solely responsible for:
Seekers are responsible for providing accurate instructions and requirements necessary for completion of a Timp.
All payments are processed through Paystack or authorized payment providers.
Seekers pay the full service price upfront.
Funds paid for a Timp are temporarily held by Timp for a period of seven (7) days (168 hours) following service completion.
If no complaint is submitted during this period, funds may become eligible for release to the Timper in accordance with these Terms.
Timp charges a flat or percentage-based commission on paid services, as follows:
Timpers become eligible to withdraw earnings fifteen (15) days after successful completion of a Timp.
The minimum withdrawal amount is R55.
Withdrawal requests below this threshold cannot be processed.
A R3 transaction fee is deducted from each withdrawal amount at the time of processing.
Timp reserves the right to delay or refuse withdrawals where fraud, disputes, verification issues, or policy violations are suspected.
Seekers may submit complaints regarding a completed Timp within seven (7) days of completion.
Complaints submitted after the seven-day period may not be reviewed or acted upon.
Upon receiving a complaint:
If Timp determines that the Timper failed to reasonably satisfy the agreed requirements, a refund may be approved.
Timp's decision regarding dispute outcomes shall be final.

Payment processor fees may be deducted where applicable and permitted by law.
Users may not:
The Timp Platform, including its software, branding, logos, designs, text, graphics, and content, is owned by or licensed to Meiwa (Pty) Ltd.
Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit any portion of the Platform without prior written permission.
We strive to keep Timp operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Platform may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no warranties regarding:
As Timp continues to develop, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
